Jeanne was born/baptized from the Parish of St-Pierre-de-Guillart. Her spouse was Jean Robin Lapointe, born in the Parish of St-Martin, Clamecy, Département de la Nièvre, Bourgogne, France in about 1642, and died before Jeanne (1703).

Jeanne is the daughter of Claude Charton and Madeleine Dumont. Per PRDH and the Filles du Roi site, she was born in about 1653, per her burial record, she was about 60 (so about 1643). She came to Quebec as a Filles du Roi on the "St-Louis de Dieppe", arriving on 25 September 1667. She married Jean Robin dit Lapointe on 10 October 1667, in Notre-Dame-de-Québec. They are the parents of the following (verified with PRDH):

Notary Gilles Rageot[6] Jean is the son of Jean Rebin (sic) and Perrette Gauterau (?) of the parish of St-Martin in the town of Clamecy, diocese of Auxerre, Jeanne is the daughter of the late Claude Charton and Magdeleine Dumont of the parish of St-Pierre-le-Guillard of the city of Bourges; among the people mentioned present, some of whom signed, we find the intendant Jean Talon, Marie Barbe de Boullongne, widow of Sieur d'Ailleboust, Antoine Adhémar and Geneviève Sageot (soldier of the regiment and daughter of the king who signed their contract the same day), Madeleine Granjond, Marie Paviot (other daughters of the king); the future wife brings goods worth 200 pounds; the contract is made in the house of Mr. Peltier, the witnesses being Jean Paul Maheu and Jean Baptiste Gaudon; the future spouses do not sign.[7]

On October 10, 1667 at Notre-Dame de Québec was celebrated the marriage between Jean Robin, son of Jean Robin and Perette Gauterio of the parish of St-Martin de Clamecy, diocese of Auxerre, with Jeanne Charreton, daughter of Claude Charreton and of Madeleine Dumont of the parish of St-Pierre-de-Guilllart, diocese of Bourges, in the presence of Jean George de Chapuy, soldier, François Peltier and Louis Robert, inhabitants, Henry de Bernières priest of Quebec officiating.[8][9 ]

Daughter of Claude and of Madeleine Dumont, of the parish of Saint-Pierre-le-Guillard in the city and diocese of Bourges in Berry (18000, Cher; Centre), she was born around 1653 (28 on 1681 census, 60 on funeral in 1703)[2]

Marriage

A marriage contract was done between Jean Rebin (sic) and Jeanne Charton on 9 October 1667 before notary Gilles Rageot[6] Jean is son of Jean Rebin (sic) and of Perrette Gauterau (?) of the parish of St-Martin in the city of Clamecy, diocese of Auxerre, Jeanne is daughter of the late Claude Charton and of Magdeleine Dumont of the parish of St-Pierre-le-Guillard in the city of Bourges; among those cited present, among whom some sign, are found intendant Jean Talon, Marie Barbe de Boullongne, widow of the sieur dAilleboust, Antoine Adhémar and Geneviève Sageot (soldier of the regiment and fille du roi who sign their contract the same day), Madeleine Granjond, Marie Paviot (other filles du roi); the future bride brings goods valued at 200 livres; the contract is done in the house of the sieur Peltier, witnesses being Jean Paul Maheu and Jean Baptiste Gaudon; the future spouses do not sign.[7]

10 children from this marriage, 8 of whom will live to marry. They were established in Longueuil[1][2] (listed above)

Jean Robin died between July 7th 1699 (marriage of his son Jean where he is present) and September 3rd 1702 (marriage of his daughter Marie Josephe, cited deceased), presumably in Longueuil.[2][1]

Death
Jeanne Chartran (sic), widow of Jean Robin, was buried on June 6th 1703 in Longueuil (St-Antoine-de-Pade), the record gives her around 60 years of age.[11]

Charton, Jeanne
Jeanne Charton was bom about 1653 in the parish of Saint-Pierre-lc- Guillard in Bourges, Berry, the daughter of Claude Charton and Madeleine Dumont. After her father’s death, Jeanne left for Canada in 1667, at age 14. On 10 October 1667, Jeanne married Jean Robin dit Lapointe in Quebec City. She could not sign the marriage contract drawn up 09 October by notary Rageot, but Jean could. Several other Filles du Roi were present at the contract signing. Jean was bom about 1643 in the parish of Saint-Martin in Clamecy (diocese of Auxerre), Burgundy, the son of Jean Robin and Perrette Gauterio. He was confirmed 24 August 1664 at Québec City. The couple settled at Longueuil, though Jeanne was confirmed 20 May 1668 at Chambly. Daughter Marie-Thérèse was bom about 1668, followed by Catherine, bom about 1670. Jeanne was baptized 13 November 1672 at Montréal, but was buried 18 January 1673. Jeanne-Catherine was baptized at Montréal 28 October 1673, followed by Reine (27 August 1675) and Jean (01 June 1678). In 1678, Jean Robin was a judge in the seigneurie of Longueuil. Daughter Madeleine was baptized 09 February 1680 at Boucherville, followed by Michel (15 December 1681), Marie-Josèphe (30 June 1684) and Marguerite (15 February 1687). Sadly, Marguerite was buried less than a year later, on 05 January 1688. Jean Robin dit Lapointe died at Longueuil between 07 July 1699 and 03 September 1702. Jeanne Charton was buried 06 June 1703 at Longueuil.
