On the direct Cushing ancestor heritage line AH01 From William Longfield Cushing b1876 leads to Theodoric I. Theodoric is famous for his part in defeating Attila (the Hun) at the Battle of the Catalaunian Plains in 451, where he was killed. The Battle of Cataluanian Fields also called the Battle ofChalons has been described as one of the bloodiest military conflicts in history. The body of Theodoric wasn't found until the next day.
