Godfrey was the son of Count Albert III and his wife Isa of Saxony... He was the husband of Sibylle, the daughter of Count Roger of Château-Porcéan and his wife Ermengarde. They married in 1087 and had two daughters before they divorced in 1105... Secondly, he married Ermrsinde, the daughter of Count Conrad I of Luxembourg and Clementia of Aquitaine, also the widow of Count Albert I of Egisheim-Dagsburg. They married in 1109 and had the following children |
