Will lists spouse, Mary Young, sons: William, Richard, daughters: Mary, Susan, and Elizabeth Young, and son Thomas Young, and brother, Edmund Caney (Edmund had married Mary Young).
FULL TEXT:
"In the name of God Amen I Richard Younge of Methwould in the County of Norfolk Gentleman being sick in Body but of good and perfect mind and memory (praised be Almighty God for the same) minding the uncertainty of life and forasmuch as in my lyes To prevent all controversies and disputes touching that Estate I shall leave behind me do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in Writeing in mannor and form following.
--Ffirst I Bequeath my Soul into the hands of Almighty God _____ for my haveing assuredly through the merits of my allsufficient Saviour Jesus Christ have full remission of all my sins and after this painfull Life ended to Everlasting happiness my Body I comitt to the Earth to be decently biried according to the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named and as for that Worldly Estate which God of his infinite mercy hath Bestowed upon me for which I return him my most Humble and hearty thanks I dispose hereof as follows (that is to say)
--- I give and Bequeath all those my arrable Lands which I purchased of Isaac Younge lyeing in the ffields of Methwould unto Mary Younge my Beloved Wife untill my sons William Younge and Richard Younge shall attain to the age of one and twenty years and also the rents and profies ariseing from the same shall receive and take during that time for and towards the Bringing up and Education of my Children and if my said sons William Younge and Richard Younge should ___ to the age of one and Twenty years That them I give and Devise all the said Lands which I purchased of the said Isaac Younge into my said sons William Younge and Richard Younge and their heirs forever equally to be Divided Between them
-- I also give and Devise all that my house called homebrigge house with the yard outhouses and appurtenances to the same belonging unto my Daughter Mary Younge and her heirs forever
-- and the rest of my estate I Leave to discend to my son Thomas Younge after the decease of his Mother according to the Joynture
-- I also give and and Bequeath unto my Brother Edmund Caney the sume of Ten Pounds to be paid by my Executrix hereinafter named within ___ months after my Decease
-- I also give and Bequeath unto the said Mary my Wife three Beds and all such goods as she shall (purely?) want for her necessary use and the rest of my goods chattles cattle and personal Estate my Will and Desire is they should be sold as soon as conveniently and what remains of the sale of the same after my Debts and funeral charges be paid the money thereof to be Divided among my Tree Daughters (viz) Mary Younge, Susan Younge & Elizabeth Younge to be equally Divided among them & her & their parts and portions whatso____ may be to be left for them in the ______ of my said Brother Edmund Caney __ they shall attain to the age of one & twenty years and if any of my said Daughters shall Depart this Life before that age th____________________ mind ____ the Survivors of them shall have their parts and ______________ and I do hereby make and ordain Mary my wife sole Executrix of this my Last Will & Testament & do hereby Desire my said Brother Edmund Caney ___ aiding & assisting to the said Mary my Wife in selling of my stock and personal Estate to the best advantage after she has _____ her three Beds & other necessary goods as she shall have occasion for In Witness whereof I the said Richard Younge have hereunto sett my hand & seal the Sixth day of October in the year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred thirty and eight. --Richard Younge"

Signed Sealed published and declared by the said Richard Younge as his Last Will & Testament revoking all former wills by him at any tme heretofor made in the presence uf us Richard Clarke, (Ben:?) Younge, Martin Hood. Proved by he Extrix 25 Novr 1738
