Will Notes:
-To my two sonnes Lancelot & Robte: all my lands lyvinge & beinge in Methwold both coppie & free , to them & their heires to be devided equallye between them and if either of thes my two sonnes shall dye without yssue of ther bodyes lawefully begotten I will yt yt survivor shall have the whole Land his brothers parte & his owne.
-To my sonne Launcelote & his heires, my howse & messuage with the yards gardens orchyards and cloases thereunto belonging, with this condicon that he paye so muche in mony as the one halfe of the same messuage with thappurtenances shalbe indefferentlye adjudged to be worth & if Lancelote shall refuse to paye the said mony unto my sonne Robte at his age of xxv yeres then I will that my sonne Robte shall have my said tenement with thappurtenances thereunto belonging to him & his heires he paying the like portion of money viz halfe so much as the whole messuage shalbe judged to be worth unto my sonne Lancelot.
-I doe make & ordayne my Executors of this my Last will & testament my too sonnes Lancelote & Robte to perform all this my lagacies to receive my debtes & paye my Debtes according to my ___ intent of this my last will and testament.
-To Alice my Daughter thirtie & seaven poundes of Lawefull mony of Inglond & two payer of sheets to be payd & delivered to her within halfe a yere nexte after my Decease.
-To Rose my Daughter thirtie & seaven pounde of Lawefull mony of Inglond and two payer of sheets to be payd & delivered unto her within one yere next after my Daughter Alice hir said daye of payment.
-To Maryone my daughter thirtie & seaven pounds of Lawefull mony of Inglond & two payer of sheetes to be payd & delivered within two yeres next after my Decease.
-To Agnes my Daughter fortie poundes of Lawefull mony of Inglond & two payer of sheets to be payd & delivered at hir age of twenty yeres.
-To Charytie my daughter fortye poundes of Lawefull mony of Inglond & two payer of sheetes to be payd & delivered to hir at hir age of twenty yeres.
-To Thomas Wattson my sonne one hundred poundes of Lawefull money of Inglond to be payd unto hime in mannor & forme following that is to saye at his age of thre & twenty yeres thre score poundes & at his age of fower & twenty yeres fortye poundes in full payment of the said hundred poundes.
-Unto the said Thomas my sonone a chest of the Largest size with Locke & keye A brasse pott & a cawdron my posted bed stead the featherbed uses there upon with thre payer of sheetes one coverlet two blancketts one boulster & one pillowe for the f__unter of the same to be delivered unto the said Thomas my sonne at his age of thre & twenty yeres.
-To Robte Wattson my sonne a chest of the greatest size a brasse pott & my faherest kettell one sylke bedhanginge one Lyvewy bedsted my newest featherbed with boulster pillow covering blankets & thre payer of sheetes for furniture the said bed
-I will that Elizabeth the daughter of my eldest daughter Elizabeth shall have six poundes thirtenn shillings & fower pence & tenn shillings more that her father doth owe unto me at hir age of xxi yeres or at the Daye of her marryage which cometh first & if she shall depte this world before the said tyme I will that the afore said whole some of money be payde unto my daughter Elizabeth her next sonne of Daghter at the tyme & yeres before specified.
-I will that all my small lyninge remayninge with my in my howse be equally devided amongst my seaven children viz between my five youngest daughters & my two youngest sonnes
-Provided also & my will and meaning is that yf my daughters aforesaid shall happen to depte this present life without yssue of her bodye or their bodyes Lawfullye Begotten before such tyme as ther Legacyeor Legacies shall or should be due or payable by the course or intente of this my last will & testament that then all such some & somes of mony as herein ar before bequeathed or intended to her or them sodepteinge shalbe equally devided amongst the surviving sisters of her or them so deptinge at such tyme & tymes as the said should have ben payeable or due to her or them so deptinge yt she or they had so longe lyved. Anf if the said Thomas shall happen to depte this present lyfe… [same] shall remayne & be payde unto all ther sisters with chall them be liveinge… & to ther said Brother equally amongest the said sisters.
-Thomas Persly my sonne in Lawe Supervisor… hopinge he will helpe further & assiste myne exexutor or executors in executing the same to the good & benefit of all my children.
-The residue of all my goodes & chattelles Debts & moveable & Imoveable substance shat soever which after & besides toe payment & discharge of my giftes & legacies afore saide the probate performing & execution of this my last will & testament shall remayne for the ___ & consideracons thein before … to the entent that all my said Daughters & the said Thomas my sonne shalbe truelye payd ther said Legacies before herein to them bequeathed… [if not, consequences] … [if controversy, ] my said Supervisor shall have the hearing endinge & determining of the same without any further charge or sute.
