412. THOMAS BOTETURT, BUTETOURTE alias DE BOTETOURTE. Writ, 28 July, 16 Edward II. SUFFOLK. Inq. 2 August, 16 Edward II. Bradeleye. The manor, held jointly with Joan his wife, by fine levied in the king’s court, of the earl Marshal in chief by knight’s service. He held no other lands &c. as the jury understand. John his first-born son, aged 4, is his next heir. NORFOLK. Inq. 3 October, 16 Edward II. Upton. The manor (extent given), including a pasture called Wyldefen, and another in Northmersh, held of Guy Fenes by service of two parts of a knight’s fee. Heir as above. C. Edw. II. File 76. (1.)
