| a) HONORIA ([417/18]-). The "Pauli Historiæ Romanæ" names "Honoria et Valentiniano" as the children of Placidia Augusta. The order in which the children are named suggests that Honoria was the older child but this is not certain. Iordanes records that Attila unsuccessfully proposed marriage to "Honoriam Valentiniani principis germanam, filiam Placidiæ Augustæ." |
