Will Notes:
-To Marye my wyef my howse and howses with the yards belonging to the same whiche I bought of John Younges for the terme of hir lyffe and alsoe I give to my said wyffe my Barne and hempland which I bowght of William Johnstone for terme of hir life. And after her deathe I give all the saide howses and Barnes with the edifices yards and hempland belonging to the same to my said sonne Benjamyn and his heres forever.
-To my sonne Benjamyn and his heyres sixe acres of Lande lyenge in Methold feilde whiche I bought of George Russell.
-To my saide sonne Benjamyn x li of Lawful money
-I will that my Executors shall put out cc li of lawfull money to the Best profitt they canne and my wyef to have the use and profit arysinge for the saide cc li dueringe hir lyef. And after her deathe my Executors shall have the said cc li.
-To my wyffe too combe of wheate, viii Combe of Rye, and xiii Combe of Maulte, to be payde and delivered to her yearlye & evrye yeare duringe hir lyef (yf she shall keepe herselfe a widdowe) the one half of everie of the saide combes of corne to be delivered to her at the feaste of St Andrewe and the other halfe at the feaste of the Annunciation of our Blessed Ladye everye yeare duringe hir lyfe upon the aforesaide condition.
-I give to wyffe the one halfe of all my howsehould stuffe whatsoever aboute or in my howse.
-To my wyfe sixe milche neate of hir choinge and xxx of Lawfull Inglishe money.
-More to my wyffe x li a yeare duringe the tyme or terme of xii yeres, to be payd by my Executors, yf she live soe longe.
-To my sonne Isaacke and his heyres my close called newe close, and ii Acres of Land which I bought of my cosen Richard Younges of the hithe. But my wyll is he shall not enter or have the saide close and ii acres of Lande until suche tyme as he shall come to the age of xxi yeres.
-To my saide sonne Isaacke xxx li of Lawfull money of England, to be paide him at the age of xxi yeares.
-I will that my Executors shall bestowe vii li of Lawfull money towards the puttinge forthe of my saide sonne Isaacke to be bound apprentice.
-To every of my daughters, that is to saye, Anne, Alice, Marie, Eele, and Joane xli a peece of lawfull money to be paide them when they shall come to the age of xxi yeares, and yf it shall happen anye of my daughters to dye, before they shall come to ther age of xxi yeares, Then my will is, that the money soe given as aforesaide, shalbe equallye devyded amonge the other of my daughters then living.
-All other my goodes & cattell what soever not before bequeathed, I will shalbe equalie devyded between my sonne Thomas and my sonne Abraham whome I make executors of this my last will and Testament.
-My executors shalbe bounde to my Supervisors in the some of vi c li of Lawfull money, to paye all suche somes of money and other legasies as is afore bequeathed and to performe this my wyll, and yf they shall refuse soe to be bownd, Then my will is that my sonne Benjamyn shalbe my Executor.
-And for my supervisors of this my will I doe nominate my Brothers in Lawe Edward Waters and Richard Waters whome I desire to be assistant my executors of this my Laste will.
-In whereof I have here unto sett my hande the daie and yeare firste above written. John Younge his marke. In the presence of us Osbert Mundford, Richard Younge,
-Wrd - that I had forgotten to sett downe in this my will how my daughters shoulde be provided for, yf my wyffe shoulde Dye before they shoulde come to the age of xxi yeares. And therefore my will is that yf wyfe shall die before my daughters shall come to the age of xxi yeares then my Executors shall mayntaine them with sufficient meate drinke & cloth convenient according to there calling, until they shall severallie come to the age of xxi yeares, md the this last clawse here sett downe under this will was done by the aforesaide John Younge in the presence of us likewise.
